Živelli explores Novi sad and Belgrade Serbia during a trip in 2023 visiting family. I spent a week taking photos and the project naturally came to fruition. The name ziveli means ‘Cheers’ in serbo/ croat with the same word in cyrillic above. There’s not one specific theme that runs throughout the zine, however I wanted the pictures to have an insight into post Yugoslavia with imagery that reflected life post war (1990s - early 2000s) and how the aftermath is still very much felt to this day.
