Infinite Traces

Infinite Traces

The series was captured on the Greek Island of Kefalonia in the late summer of 2023. Infinite Traces is at the forefront a land study with a topographical approach drawing on site, structure, scene, time and cultural narratives within the surrounding landscape.

The early Greek philosophers believed that the universe and time was infinite with no beginning and no end. Infinite Traces explores a stage in time characterised by the markings on the land. These markings are left as symbolic traces integrated into the cycle of infinity by the current inhabitants on the Greek island of Kefalonia.
